The Institute is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for establishing policies, standard operating procedures, and approving any Code revisions. The Institute is led by the President who is also a Chair of the Board of Directors.
The Institute does not maintain traditional office facilities and staff. This web site is used as the primary source of information and response to inquires related to the Code and the activities of the Institute.
The International Cyanide Management Institute will establish Advisory Panels as necessary to study issues and to develop decision-making information and guidance for the Board and President. Advisory Panels addressing verification and reporting, environmental management systems, and sampling and analysis are being considered. Candidates for Advisory Panels are approved by the Board.
